Westbrook is not going to win the MVP this season. At least some voting people are probably disgusted by the way OKC helped him 刷數據. Look at Steve Adams' rebound stats this season: 5.1 offensive rebounds and 4 defensive rebounds (!) per game. A center who grabbed more offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds? Never heard of it. Where had those defensive rebounds gone to? Of course, Adams box out to allow WB to grab those. Over the last 10 yrs, WB's offensive rebounds are essentially the same, but his defensive rebounds have improved from 2.7 to 8.2. If a player has improved his rebounding, there is no reason why it only improved in defensive and not offensive. The reason, of course, was because in defensive rebounding, their center/forward could box out, but not likely in offensive situations.... |
