I am neutral as I am neither a GSW nor Spurs fan. However, I would like to point out a few observations: (1) Kawhi jumped very high and he landed on one foot (that wasn't Pachulia's fault) and that's a very dangerous move by itself, especially considering his earlier injuries before and in this game. (2) Pachulia didn't really look at the ground at all, so it would be difficult to estimate where Kawhi landed (Kawhi landed behind him). (3) Pachulia's heel (where Kawhi had a slight collision with) was not really stretched out behind and beyond his body from a vertical point of view, so the chance of hurting a jumper behind him was not really that big. (4) Usually, in this kind of dirty move, the player prefers to use the front part of the foot, as that part can stretch out farther from the body, plus the player can better estimate where the jump shooter lands (note how Ginobili did that to Green using the front part of his foot, for example). ... |
